Richard L. “Dick” Stevenson, 80, Johnstown, died November 30, 2016, at Memorial Medical Center. He was born December 26, 1935, in Punxsutawney, son of the late D. Paul and Mary (Milligan) Stevenson. He was preceded in death by his brother, Robert. He is survived by his wife, Loretta (Vota) Stevenson, whom he married June 14, 1958; daughters, Carol Russell, and husband, Richard, Burke, VA; and Nancy Golden, and husband, Mark, Greensburg; grandchildren, Andrew and Jonathan Russell, and Mitch and Sarah Golden; brother, Edward Stevenson, Helena, MT; and sister, Nancy Williams, Tarpon Springs, FL. He was a member of Westmont Presbyterian Church, and a member of Trout Unlimited, the Windber Country Club, and the Westmoreland Counselors Association. He was a graduate of IUP. He had worked for the Westmont School District, where he had served as football and track coach, and then at the Ligonier Valley School District. He was an avid reader, golfer, Steelers fan, fisherman, and enjoyed tying his own flies. He enjoyed spending time with his family and was extremely proud of his daughters and their families. He was greatly loved by his family and they will miss him immensely. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 & 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at John Henderson Company Funeral Home, 215 Central Ave. Funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Westmont Presbyterian Church, the Rev. Craig Miller, officiating. Interment, Forest Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to Trout Unlimited, P.O.
