Margaret Deloris (Piptick) Holub

Margaret Deloris (Piptick) Holub, “Peggy” 84, Richland, died peacefully on February 17, 2017, at her residence. Born June 4, 1932, in Conemaugh, daughter of the late Michael and Tekla (Sawka) Piptick. Preceded in death by beloved husband, Paul J.; brothers, John, Michael, Charles , and Frank and wife, Marion; and sisters, Mildred, Mary and husband, John Stecik, and Anna and husband, Dan Yakulik; father and mother–in-law, Elix and Katherine (Strank) Holub; sisters-in-law, Mary and husband Charles Kist; Ann Meinhardt; and brothers-in-law John and Charles Holub. Survived by daughter Michelle and her husband, Tony Koposko, Windber; and son and caregiver, Paul, Richland; grandchildren, Anthony and Kallie Koposko; and sister-in-law Cel Holub; as well as her nieces and nephews. She was a lifetime member of Holy Trinity Byzantine Catholic Church. Peggy was a graduate of the former Conemaugh High School, Class of 1950. She enjoyed spending time with her family, and especially her grandchildren. Friends received from 3 until 7pm Monday at Henderson Funeral Home-East Hills, 2503 Bedford St., where Parastas will be sung at 6:30pm. Funeral will begin on Tuesday at 9am with a brief service at the funeral home followed by Divine Liturgy at 10am at Holy Trinity Church with Father Robert F. Oravetz. Interment, Grandview Cemetery.
