Wilma King, age 92 went to be with the Lord on September 3, 2025. Born September,11th 1932 Wilma's life was a testament to faith, hard work, and unwavering love. Born the eldest daughter of Annie (Nee Williams) and Alonzo Hall of Midway, Alabama, she leaves behind a remarkable legacy.
Preceded in death by husband, Philip James King, Jr.; siblings Elizabeth Hall, Alonzo Hall, Frank Hall ,Odessa Hall, Lola Reviere and Willie Mae Seals (all of Johnstown) Wilma's dedication and compassion were evident throughout her career. For twelve years, she served as a CNA at the Church of the Brethren Home in Windber, Pennsylvania, demonstrating her tireless commitment to caring for others. Even after retirement, she continued to serve her community as a foster grandparent in the Johnstown School District, where she was cherished and lovingly known as "Grandma Wilma." The impact she had on countless lives during this time is immeasurable.
A devout and faithful member of Shiloh Baptist Church for many years, Wilma lived her faith openly and consistently, inspiring those around her with her unwavering belief. She will be deeply missed by her five children: John A. Farrior ( wife Mary), Kerry Farrior, Mark Farrior, Reggie Farrior, and Deborah Brassell (husband Rodney). We all remember her with immense love and gratitude. "Gram" was a title that beautifully encompassed her nurturing spirit and the love she showered upon her grandchildren Reggie Farrior (wife Lauren) of Michigan, Misty Farrior, Lancaster, Pa Kerecia Farrior, Sarina Farrior, Jadah and Kennedy Brassell, Marla and April Farrior, Jackie Bush and Josh Farrior and a host of great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews that she loved as her own.
