Willie F. Bedell, Sr.

Willie F. Bedell, Sr., 93, Johnstown, died January 4,2024 at his home. Born July 7, 1930 in Woodland, GA, son of Robert Bedell. Preceded in death by parents; wife, Margaret (Walden); son, Keith; and sister, Maude Mitchell. Survived by children, Kim; Willie, F., Jr; and Marcus (Ollie); Godson, Amari Andrews; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and one great-great grandson. He was a member of St. James Missionary Baptist Church, where he served as a deacon. He was retired from Bethlehem Steel Corp., and was a US Army veteran of the Korean Conflict. Friends received Saturday, January 13th from 10AM until the hour of service at noon at St. James Missionary Baptist Church. Arrangements are by John Henderson Company Funeral Home.
