William K. Herring

William Katrell Herring, affectionately known to family and friends as "Trell," was born on June 15, 1986. He departed this life on September 14, 2026, at 3:00 p.m., leaving behind a loving family and a lifetime of memories to cherish.
As a beloved son, father, brother, and uncle, Trell's life touched those around him in many ways. His presence will be deeply missed, and the moments shared with family and friends will forever hold a special place in their hearts.
He was preceded in death by his father, William Herring III; his son, Hussire Herring; his sister, Jymela Bnai Thompson; and his brother, Andrew Miller. Among those who will lovingly remember him are his mother, Linda Thompson; his children, Madison, Cassidy, Kennedy, Taylor, Hezekiah, and Amiyah Herring, and Arzi Thompson; and his siblings, Jymil Thompson, John Herring, Rukiya (Bryant) Grayson-Ward, Ashley (Garrett) Robine, and Anthony Miller.
Trell shared a special bond with his niece, Crishira Cotton, and nephew, Robert Trago, who were devoted caregivers and a constant source of love and support. He was deeply loved by all of his nieces and nephews, along with a host of other relatives, loved ones, and friends who will continue to cherish his memory.
Though his earthly journey has ended, Trell's life and legacy will live on through his children, his family, and all who knew and loved him. May the love, laughter, and moments shared with Trell bring comfort, strength, and peace in the days ahead, and may his memory remain forever. Friends will be received Saturday, September 26, 2026, from noon until time of funeral service at 1:00 at John Henderson Co. Funeral Home. Interment at Grandview Cemetery.
