William D. Godfrey

William D. Godfrey, 82, Johnstown, passed away June 30, 2024, at home. Born January 11, 1942, in Johnstown. Son of Kenneth J. and Leah M. (Playez) Godfrey. Preceded in death by parents and brother Kenneth J. Jr. Survived by loving wife of 57 years Kathy M. (Wright) Godfrey; daughters Heather (Brian Kennedy), Breanne (Toby Angove); grandchildren Molly, Maggie, Jack and Adelaide; aunt Norma Balko and several cousins. He enjoyed socializing and telling jokes. He and his wife were a host family for the Chiefs hockey and Steal baseball teams in Johnstown. He retired from Lockheed Martin as a business developer. Friends will be received Wednesday July 10th from 4-6 pm and also Thursday from 10 am until time of service at 11 am at John Henderson Company Funeral Home, 215 Central Ave.
