BURNS- William "Bill," C., 72, Johnstown. Passed away February 11, 2020 at his residence. Born February 7, 1948 in Johnstown. Son of Robert and Doris (Boyer) Burns. Preceded in death by parents, sister Wanda Irons, brother Michael, great grandson Zachary Williams Jr., and brothers-in-law Barry Vore and John Dull. Survived by wife of 52 years, June (Plows); children Billy married to Gloria, Bob, Tina Brown, Karrie married to Scott Odee, Andy married to Malisha and Toots married to Sam Shaffer all of Johnstown; siblings Jean Vore of Johnstown, Barry married to Jean Smalls of Johnstown and Betty Dull of Bedford; 28 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren; and special friend/boss Rob Zegland. Member of the Salvation Army. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping. US Navy Veteran serving in Vietnam. Former employee of US Steel, prior to retiring after 20 years from Boscov's as Loading Dock Security. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 Monday at John Henderson Co.
