Walter J. Rickabaugh

Walter J. "Rick" Rickabaugh, 92, Johnstown, died May 26, 2025 at Country Manor. Born December 19, 1932, son of Walter L. and Edna (Hofecker) Rickabaugh. Preceded in death by parents; sisters, Marion Rouzer, Leona Frombach; and brother, J.C. Rickabaugh. Survived by wife of 70 years, Carolyn "Connie" (Rehn); son, Randy; granddaughters, Crystal Rickabaugh, and Jessica Rickabaugh (Alex Tisinger, Jr.) great grandchildren, Logan and Dallas Maines. Walter was the owner/operator of the former Rick's Auto Mart. He was a member of Sunnehanna Lodge 742 F&AM, and Jaffa Shrine, Altoona. He was a past commander of the WFW Post 155. He was a US Army veteran of the Korean Conflict. Friends received 5-7PM Thursday at Henderson Funeral Home-East Hills, 2503 Bedford Street., where military rite will be conducted at 7PM by Menoher Post 155 VFW Ritual Team.
