Walter J. Niton Jr., 77, Johnstown, died August 7, 2026, at Somerset Hospital. Born April 27, 1949, in Johnstown. Son of the late Walter J. Sr. and Phyllis M. (Hoffman) Niton. Survived by loving wife of 53 years, Sheryl A. (Wentz) Niton; children Melissa (Christopher Horner), Christina (Chad Davis); grandchildren Kyler Harbaugh, Paige Horner, Brayden Horner, Addison Davis, Maddison Davis; great granddaughter Raelyn Horner; siblings Roberta Winwood, Deborah (Orlando Fulgenzio), Phillp Niton; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family. He was a member of St. Benedict Catholic Church. He was an avid fisherman and loved to golf. He loved spending time with his family. He was a CPA for over 40 years. Friends will be received Wednesday from 4:00 until time of funeral service at 6 pm at Henderson Funeral Home, East Hills, 2503 Bedford Street. Entombment Richland Cemetery.
