Virginia (Popvnak) Ocipa

OCIPA- Virginia I., 89, East Taylor. Passed away November 28, 2020 at The Atrium. Born February 21, 1931 in St. Michael. Daughter of Michael and Pauline (Borrow) Popovnak. Preceded in death by parents, husband Edward "EJ," and brother James. Survived by children Edward T. married to Pamela (Silevinac), Kathy married to Jeff Cooper, Thomas J., Deborah married to Louis Gjurich, and Jack married to Cindy (Baker); and sisters JoAnne Zima and Eileen Winski; 10 grandchildren; and 5 great grandchildren. Member of Church of the Transfiguration. Virginia loved spending time with her grandchildren and enjoyed playing bingo. The family would like to thank the staff at The Atrium and Interim Hospice for the care they gave to Virginia. A visitation will be held privately. However, a public funeral mass will be held Wednesday, 10:30 at Church of the Transfiguration. Father Robert C. Hall and Father William Rosenbaum will be officiating. Committal at Sacred Heart Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Atrium or Church of the Transfiguration.
