Twila Faye Workman, 90, Johnstown, went to be with Jesus on December 31, 2024 at Arbutus Park Manor. Born January 20, 1934 in Bitner, PA daughter of John and Agnes (Cole) Hart. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Howard; daughter, Marla Sue; son, Mark; siblings, Brenda Hart, and Velda Fox; and brothers-in-law, Dr. Raymond Lynn and Richard Fox. She is survived by daughter, Gail (Todd Cover), Davidsville; grandchildren, Courtney (Corey Hicks); Chelsea (Nate Weaver); and Abby (Jeremy Updyke); great grandchildren, Cooper, Coby, Jaden, and Lily; sister, Betty Lynn; and several nieces and nephews. Twila was a graduate of the former Dunbar Twp. High School. She was employed at Beneficial Financial Company before becoming a full-time mother and homemaker. She was a member of Emmanuel Church, where she served as a deaconess and Sunday School teacher. She was involved in Christian Women's Club and served as a Windber Hospice Volunteer for over 30 years. Twila was known for gardening, yodeling, and her love for polkas. The family would like to thank the staff of Arbutus Park Manor for caring and loving Twila as if she were family. By request, a private service will be held at a later date.
