Travis Chance Niel, 28, Richland, died September 1, 2023. Born September 8, 1994 in Johnstown. Son of Jody S. Niel and Monica (Hoover) Niel. Preceded in death by grandfathers David Niel and Gary Hoover; aunt Michelle Miller and great grandmother Doris McKeel. Survived by parents; daughter Aurora "Rori" Niel and her mother Samantha Weaver; siblings Nicholas Niel (Kendra), Kayla Niel; grandmothers Carol Hoover and Patricia Niel; aunts and uncles Jacqueline Saylor, Patrick Saylor, Jan Albert, David Niel, Sandy Miller, Wayne Niel and Steve Niel; also, numerous cousins and friends. He was employed at Eber-HVAC. Trav was an avid Penn State fan. He loved the Denver Broncos and Duke basketball. He was the king of cornhole. Trav was a loving father, son and brother. Friends will be received Wednesday from 11:00 am until time of memorial service at 1:00 pm at Henderson Funeral Home East Hills, 2503 Bedford Street, Pastor Mike Long. Inurnment Grandview Cemetery.
