Timothy C. Salem

SSgt. Timothy C. Salem, US Army, Retd., 63, Bluffton, SC, formerly of Johnstown, died August 25, 2025. Born May 17, 1962 in Johnstown, son of the late Norman and Elaine (Marsh) Salem. Survived by wife, Sandra (Doepfer), whom he married February 21, 1982; children, Monica Armstrong (Hunaffa); Teresa Hendricks (Kevin); Kathryn Salem; and Timothy, II; grandchildren, Corra, Aiden, Lily, Alyssa, Kevin, Jayden, and A.J.; siblings, Chris (Lena); and Connie Murnin (Tim); and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Tim served in the US Army until his retirement in 2001. He worked as a technician for Waste Water Company on Daufuskie Island in South Carolina. Friends received Friday from 10AM until the hour of service at noon at John Henderson Company Funeral Home, 215 Central Ave. Interment, Grandview Cemetery where military rite will be conducted by Chas. Menoher Post 155 VFW Ritual Team.
