Thomas Reed

Thomas Reed, 92, Johnstown, died May 9, 2024 at Memorial Medical Center. Born September 25, 1931 in Johnstown, son of Clinton and Lillian (Johnson) Reed. Preceded in death by parents; wife, Lorena (Hall); daughters, Linda Hall and Sharon Reed; grandson, Jacob Toth; several brothers and sisters; and aunt, Verbenna Hansen, who raised him. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family. Survived by children, Gloria (Brian Rager); Patty, widow of Richard Toth; Thomas, Jr (Michelle Hasse); and David (Janina Novatskaja); 13 grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. Tom was a past master of F&AM Lodge 538; secretary/treasurer of TPA; and coach of Arbutus Park Little League. He was a retired payroll clerk from Bethlehem Steel Corp. and also worked as a manager of the former Dean Phipps Auto Store. Friends received 3-7PM Monday at Henderson Funeral Home-East Hills, 2503 Bedford St. where funeral service will be held 11AM Tuesday with Pastor Rob Wolf officiating. Interment, Richland Cemetery.
