Obituary

Thomas Andrew Novak, 75, Johnstown, died July 22, 2022 at Westmont Woods. Born April 11, 1947 in Uniontown. Son of Andrew Novak and Kathryn (Christopher) Seighman. Preceded in death by parents. Survived by loving wife of 52 years, Kathleen (Wass); sons, Jeffrey, Thomas, Jr., and Matthew; 2 precious granddaughters, Rylee and Ava; and brothers, Robert (Suzanne), and William. Tom was a veteran of the US Army National Guard. He was a dedicated employee of the Richland School District for 37 years, retiring in 2009 as building operator. He was a generous supporter of his church (St. Benedict Catholic Church), missions and charities. He enjoyed walking and watching sports, especially Steelers football.
At his request there will be no public viewing. A funeral mass will be held at 11AM Friday at St. Benedict Church with Father David Peles as celebrant.. Henderson Funeral Home East Hills is serving the family.
