Theresa M (Cucciardo) Conway

CONWAY - Theresa M. (Cucciardo), 82, Johnstown, passed away May 31, 2022, at home. Preceeded in death by husband Bernard V. Jr; parents Anthony and Irene Cucciardo, brothers Patrick and Paul Cucciardo, and grandson Evan Conway. Survived by children, Kelli married to Scott Herrington of New Alexandria, Pa, Bernard III married to Maureen (Golba) of Johnstown, Erynn married to Benjamin Mack of Homer City, and Dan married to Brande (Seese) of Johnstown. Also, world's greatest Nana to grandchildren, Connor Herrington, Ian, Delaney, Aidan, and Reagan Conway, Tyler and Ethan Mack and Mollie Conway. There is nothing Theresa loved and lived for more than her grandchildren. Theresa is also survived by brother, Anthony Cucciardo married to Lynda (DiBiaso); sisters, Mary Glenda (Cucciardo) married to Alphonse Kovacik; Victoria Cucciardo; Christine (Cucciardo) married to Helmut Lorenz; also survived by many nieces and nephews. Theresa was a 1959 graduate of Johnstown High School and of Johnstown Vocational School of Practical Nursing. She left that profession early to raise her children. She later worked at Glosser Brothers in the men's department where she enjoyed helping put outfits together for customers. She then worked at Bestform. Theresa was an avid reader of mysteries. She could finish a book in an evening and would often have the library order books in, as she had read all that were on the shelves. She loved to shop, especially for purses, and loved Starbucks Chai Tea Latte. Also, she loved Christmas and her house was always decorated top to bottom in every room. Please think of her this Christmas when you hang a special ornament on your tree. Theresa was a devout Catholic and a kind, selfless women who put everyone else's needs before her own. Visitation will be held Monday, June 6, 2022, from 4-7 at John Henderson Co. Funeral Home, 215 Central Ave. A funeral mass will be celebrated Tuesday at 10:00 at Saint Therese Catholic Church, Father Bernard Karmonocky officiating. Inurnment to follow at Saint Anthony's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to Johnstown Cambria County Library or Cuddles for Kids, PO BOX 701 Johnstown PA 15907.
