Thelma R. Keller

Thelma Rae Keller, 98, died May 6, 2025, at Parkside Assisted Living. Born January 30,1927, in Somerset County. Daughter of George and Edna (Lowry) Keller.

Preceded in death by parents, siblings Harry Keller, Velma Cable, Ruth Jury Hillegass, Esther Carosella, Earl Keller, Wanda Diane Keller, nephew Donald Carosella, niece Thelma Rae Lowe. Survived by sister Ida Waters, nieces and nephews Robert Cable, Michael Jury, Patricia Goodson, David Jury, Debra Horner, Annette Carosella, Marie Rys, Rob McClain, Bradley Waters, Brian, Scott, and Jeffery Keller, Danny Keller and Vicky Waters, and many great nieces and nephews. She was a lifelong member of Moxham Lutheran Church.  She worked at Mary Janes and Gilbert’s Shoe stores in Johnstown, before becoming a nanny in 1985 until she retired at the age of 90. She was a very loving and caring person.

Friends will be received from 10 AM Saturday May 10 until time of service at 11 at Moxham Lutheran Church, 500 Park Ave, Johnstown, PA, 15902. Interment Richland Cemetery. John Henderson Company Funeral Home is serving the family.
