Telford J. Ankeny

Telford J. Ankeny, "Ted", 71, Johnstown, died May 31, 2023 at Windber Hospice. Born November 4, 1951 in Johnstown, son of the late Thomas and Marjorie (Kline) Ankeny. Survived by brothers, Thomas, Timothy (Terry) and their son, (Travis (Bonnie); life long companion, Winnie Keith; and cousins of the Kline family. Ted was a member of Belmont UM Church. He was a member of LOOM #349, Windber; American Legion Post 137, and a life member of Moxham PNA. He was an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed camping, fishing, and hunting. Ted was a retired auto technician from Tri-Star, Somerset. Friends received Monday from 10AM until the time of service at noon at Henderson Funeral Home-East Hills, 2503 Bedford St., with Pastor Hernan officiating. Interment, Richland Cemetery.
