Telford A. Adams, "Ted", 94, Johnstown, died June 29, 2026, at The Villa Nursing Home. Born June 28, 1932, in Johnstown. Son of Samuel and Stella (Mishler) Adams. Preceded in death by parents; wife, Betty (Cole) Adams; brothers, Robert and Richard; sisters: Dorothy Davis, Sara Hotham, and Phyllis Beegle. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family. Ted is survived by loving children: James (Kathy Murray), Deborah (Charles Robertson), Scott (Renee Albertson); loving grandchildren: Nicole (Andrew Penton), Michael Adams (Catherine Garrett), David Robertson (Danielle Moran), Aaron Robertson (Andrea Youngo), Joshua Robertson (Megan D'Innocenzo ), Samantha (Jonathan Willett), Kevin Adams, and Cory Adams; loving great grandchildren: Charlie, Isaac, Nolan, Graham, Evelynne, Benjamin, Jude, Ellie, and Levi. Ted was an Army veteran that served in the Korean War. He was a member of Derby Global Methodist Church, where he was very active serving on multiple committees. He was also a trustee. Ted enjoyed all of the activities that his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren were involved in. He enjoyed camping, fishing and riding his tractors. He fulfilled 28 years at H.F. Lenz Company before retiring. Friends will be received Friday from 11:00 a.m. until time of funeral service at 1:00 pm at John Henderson Company Funeral Home, 215 Central Ave., Pastor Bob Katzenstein. Interment Richland Cemetery.
