Shirley M. Paros, 85, Johnstown, died peacefully in her sleep September 24, 2021 at Memorial Medical Center. Born December 24, 1935 in Johnstown. Daughter of Kenneth R. and Stella M. (Bloom) Stull. Preceded in death by parents, husband Joseph G. Sr., and brother Donald R. Stull. Survived by loving children Kenneth E. (Mary Vetanze), Patricia M. (James Tyler), Joseph G. Jr. (Deborah L. Rummell), Cheryl M. (Roger J. Thomas); grandchildren Ryan Tyler (Denise Bickford), Ashley (Brian Chalmers), Nicholas Paros (Alyssa Kelly), Alex Paros, Scott Thomas, Justin Thomas (Heather Gadomski); great grandchildren Ryan Tyler Jr., Hudson Tyler, William J. Chalmers, Broderic Paros, Cassidy Paros; siblings Dwane Stull, Dorothy Bell, Mildred Stull, Irene (Joseph Miller), Lois (Richard Gallus), Harold Stull, Sondra Garb, Gary Stull (Karen), Sharon Stull and fiancee Dennis Apple, sister-in-law Janet Stull and many nieces and nephews. She was a member of Bethany United Methodist Church where she was very active. She was in the choir, she served as the church secretary. She loved to sing and had a song in her heart for every occasion. She especially loved children and sharing her songs with them. She loved to walk, feed the birds, angels and her wild flowers. She loved her family and was kind, giving and faith filled. Friends will be received Sunday from 3:00-6:00 pm at Henderson Funeral Home, East Hills, 2503 Bedford Street. A funeral service will be held on Monday at 11:00 am at Bethany United Methodist Church, Pastor Valerie Mize. Entombment St. Joseph Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
