Shirley M. Horvath, 86, Salix, passed away April 7, 2024, at Windber Hospital. Born January 30, 1938, in Johnstown. Daughter of Harvey and Katherine (Rolley) Rhoades. Preceded in death by parents, infant brother and brother James Rhoades. Survived by loving husband of 67 years John F.; children Devin, Randy and Pamela; grandchildren Devina (Eric Vincent), Ian, Randy Jr., Brooke, Kayleigh, Lynn (Travis Becht), Scott and Nicholle (Andrew Williams); great grandchildren Colin, Forest, Bryson, Harper, Lincoln, Lily and Sophia; sister Joanne Hileman; also, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She was a member of St. Andrew Catholic Church where she was involved in the Ladies Auxiliary. She loved flowers, quilting, crocheting and ceramics. Friends will be received Saturday from 10:00 am until noon at Henderson Funeral Home, East Hill, followed by a graveside service at Richland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Andrew Catholic Church.
