Mr. Sheldon Lincoln Miller

Sheldon L. Miller, 95, Johnstown, died September 25, 2023 at home. Born February 12, 1928 in Croyle, son of Elmer G. and Ada (Lythgoe) Miller. Preceded in death by parents; wife of 65 years, Marian (White) and sister, Lorraine Friedel. Survived by children, Shelby (Larry Dudash); and Mark (Sunny Krivach), all of Johnstown, Sheldon attended Belmont UM Church. He was a retired crane man from Bethlehem Steel Corp., and a US Navy World War II veteran. He enjoyed cooking and wood working, and was an avid Pirates and Steelers fan. Friends received Friday from 11AM until the time of service at 1PM at Henderson Funeral Home-East Hills, 2503 Bedford St., with Pastor Tom Moore officiating. Military rite will be conducted by Chas. Menoher Post 155 VFW Ritual Team immediately following the service at the funeral home. Interment, Forest Lawn Cemetery.
