FINGERHOOT- Scott W., 51, Johnstown. Passed away October 21, 2021 at Memorial Medical Center. Born April 26, 1970 in Johnstown. Son of Alden and Joan (Ofsanko) Fingerhoot. Preceded in death by his mother, maternal grandparents George and Pauline Ofsanko, and paternal grandparents Charles and Evelyn Fingerhoot. Survived by his father; wife of 7 years, Michelle (Melendez); children, Samantha Coleman of WA, Drew Coleman of Mechanicsburg, PA, Coty Justus Melendez of Johnstown, and Dylan Melendez of Dothan, AL; grandson and best friend Caleb "Bubba" Melendez; and sister Kelly married to Mark Bier of Portage. Scott was an active member of Pleasant Hill Church of the Brethren. He was a 1988 Greater Johnstown High School Graduate. His family meant everything to him and will be sadly missed by all who knew him. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8, Monday at John Henderson Co. Funeral Home and where a funeral service will be held 1:00, Tuesday. Rev. Rob Wolf, officiating. Interment at Benshoff Cemetery.
