Ruth (Locher) McGraw

McGRAW- Ruth, 95, South Carolina formerly of Johnstown. Passed away May 31, 2025 at her residence. Born June 16, 1929 in Johnstown. Daughter of Vincent and Catherine (Berg) Locher. Preceded in death by her parents, husband Raymond A. after 67 years of marriage , son Raymond W., and siblings Vincent "Sonny", William, Dorothy Cober, Katherine McKelvey and Pearl Sedlemeyer. Survived by son, Rick of South Carolina; sister, Nancy Yagodich of Davidsville; daughter-in-law Patricia (Weaver) McGraw of South Carolina and numerous nieces and nephews. Member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Johnstown. Ruth loved to shop for clothing and jewelry, bake, cook, traveling and taking care of her family. Retired in 1990, after 24 years as a Cafeteria Manager from Roxbury Grade School. Friends will be received 3-5 on Tuesday at John Henderson Co. Funeral Home, 215 Central Ave. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 on Wednesday at St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1348 Virginia Ave. Pastor Susan L Mentzer, officiating.
