Roy Leventry Obituary

Roy C. Leventry, 93, Johnstown, passed away August 5, 2021 at Arbutus Park Manor. Born January 22, 1928 in Johnstown, son of Carl and Margaret (Fisher) Leventry. Preceded in death by parents; brother, Jack, and sisters, Shirley Gordon, Bessie Sakmar, Mary Ellen Mortimer, and Edna Querry. Survived by wife, Lois (Weicht); children, Randy (Carol); Sharon McClain; Gary (Patty); and Janice; six grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren; and sister, Ida Firm. He was a retired machinist from US Steel, and a US Army veteran of the Korean Conflict. By request, there will be no public viewing. A memorial service will be announced and held at a later date. John Henderson Company Funeral Home, 215 Central Ave., is serving the Leventry family.
