Rose Mary Herter

HERTER- Rose Mary, 97, Johnstown. Passed away February 18, 2025 at her residence. Born February 24, 1927 in Johnstown. Daughter of Othmar and Catherine (Gillin) Thiel. Preceded in death by parents, husband Adam, and siblings Othmar "Tim", Joseph and Pat. Survived by children, Ronald (Barbara Campanaro), Robert (Barbara McDermott), Richard (Luann Showalter), Joseph (Nancy Sefcik), and Barry (Donna Brandle); siblings, Charles and Bernard; 10 grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren. Member of Zion Lutheran Church. Rose enjoyed baking, cooking and making candy. She was the matriarch of the family. Friends will be received Friday from 3-7 at John Henderson Co. Funeral Home.
