Rose Ann (Rhodes) Cale passed away on December 30, 2023 at home. Proceeded in death by loving husband of 55 years Jack W Cale. Her family finds peace in knowing that Jack and Rose are reunited again in eternal love and with her parents, Evelyn Rhodes Vitalie and Tony Vitalie. Rose cherished her memories with her sisters Mary Barclay and Betty Jurasak. Also proceeded in death by two infant daughters; and siblings Mary Barclay and Betty Jurasak, Eddie Vitalie, Surviving siblings James Vitalie, Kay Swanhart, Helen Cowhen. Rose is survived by loving daughters Cathy Domineck (Mike), Cindy Conrad (Rick), Jackie Salem (Randy) Chris Toma (Steve) and granddaughters Olivia Rose Salem (fiancé Tyler Hall) Ricki Sue Conrad. Her favorite way to spend a day was shopping with her daughters. They say that the qualities of a matriarch include love, strength, and wisdom. Rose was nothing short of these qualities for her family. She was our mother, best friend, and grandmother. Without question, she showed love and support through her actions and words of wisdom. She shared this warmth through her immense love and pride for her two granddaughters, who loved her deeply in return. Companion dog best friend Brady. Numerous nieces and nephews. Rose came to love various caregivers, including Donna, Shelly, Krys, Jenna, Stacey. By request, there will be no viewing. A funeral mass will be held 10AM Saturday at St. Benedict Catholic Church with Father David Peles as celebrant. In lieu of flowers, family requests donations be made in Rose's name to Lymphoma Foundation of America or the Cambria County Humane Society. John Henderson Company Funeral Home is serving the family.
