Obituary
Ronald J. Cummins, 79, Johnstown, died July 9, 2023 at Memorial Medical Center. Born April 25, 1944 in Johnstown son of the late Millard and Vivian (Leavy) Cummins. Survived by brothers, Richard, New York City; and Gary (Carol Ostheimer), Newport, RI; partner of 18 years, Marcia Weiss, Pittsburgh; and good friend, Bob Horowitz. He was a member Beth Shalom Congregation. Along with his father, he operated The Family Store. Friends received 10AM until 11AM Thursday at John Henderson Company Funeral Home, 215 Central Ave. A graveside service will follow at 11:30AM at Grandview Cemetery with Rabbi Irvin Brandwein officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Crohn's and Colitis Foundation , or the charity of one's choice.
