Rev. Ronald W. Borsuk, 92, Ebensburg, formerly of Conemaugh, died March 24, 2022 at Embassy of Hillsdale Park. Born March 10, 1930 in Johnstown, only son of the late Walter and Helen (Klochak) Borsuk. He was a retired Byzantine Catholic Priest. Upon his ordination, June, 1958, by Bishop Nicholas Elko, he served the Byzantine Catholic Archeparchy of Pittsburgh with assignments including, assistant pastor of St. Mary Church, New York; teacher of CCD training, New York and Bridgeport; administrator, Sts. Peter and Paul Church, Portage; pastor, St. John Church, Lyndora, PA; and administrator, Sts. Peter and Paul Church, Jerome. His last assignment was serving the parishes of Holy Trinity Byzantine Catholic Church, Conemaugh, as pastor; and administrator, Saint Nicholas of Myra Byzantine Catholic Church in Nanty Glo Father Borsuk retired May 31, 2005. He was a member of Greek Catholic Union Lodge; Fourth Degree K of C Council 9136; Polish Heritage Council of Cambria, Somerset, and Blair counties. Friends received Friday, April 1st from 3-6PM at Holy Trinity Byzantine Catholic Church, 217 Fourth St., Conemaugh. Priestly Parastas will be sung at 6PM. Archbishop William C. Skurla, D.D. will celebrate the Funeral Divine Liturgy at 10AM Saturday at Holy Trinity. Interment, will follow at Grandview Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to Henderson-Makuchan Funeral Home, 434 First St., Conemaugh.
