Roger E. Roy, 87, Johnstown, died May 9, 2026 at Concordia at Arbutus Park Manor. Born October 4, 1938 in Fort Kent, ME, son of Patrick and Rose (Lagasse) Roy. Preceded in death by parents; and brother, Clarence. Survived by wife, Bernice (Plourde); children, Roger, Jr. (Terri); and Cynthia Andersen and fiancé, Clifford Lowe; grandchildren, Patrick Roy (Kristina); Abby (William Weiss); John Roy; Emily (Geoffrey Stumpo) Daniel Esposito; and Caitlin Esposito; great grandchildren, Thomas and Joseph Roy; Matthias, Karl, and Angelica Weiss; and sister, Lorraine Plourde. With gratitude we acknowledge the compassionate care given by the dedicated staff of Concordia at Arbutus Park during the last chapter of his life's journey. By request, there will be no public viewing. Funeral mass will be held 11AM Monday, May 18th, at St. Andrew Catholic Church, Father Peter Crowe, celebrant.
