Neuder - Robert William, 68, Johnstown, passed away on Wednesday, December 26th, 2024 at his Oakhurst Homes residence. Born August 8, 1956 in Johnstown, the son of Lester and Stella Tillie (Rys) Neuder. He is preceded in death by his wife Judith Martine (Shapiro) Neuder, father and mother, both sets of grandparents and his beloved cat Jazz and basset hound, Barney. He is survived by brother's Gary Leslie Neuder (Sherry Lee Poole) Neuder of Ocala, Florida, Leslie Mark Neuder of Johnstown, sister Anne Frances (Neuder) Mahon (Brian Richard Mahon) of Johnstown and his cat, The Bun, lovingly being cared for by brother Les. He is a Richland Sr. High School graduate. To his family, he was Robert, but Bob to everyone else. He was an accomplished machinist in Houston, TX and later an independent roofing and siding contractor in Lexington KY and Johnstown, PA. He was a lover of dogs and cats. Robert had a huge heart and would always go the extra mile for anyone. He also knew how to hold a grudge. Robert was a Ford Thunderbird or Mercury Cougar man, who loved to peg the needle on long drives. Beside fast cars, he loved his favorite liquid refreshment (beer) and Polish pigs in a blanket, especially his mom's and secondly by the women at St Therese's. He was a diehard fan of the Pirates, Steelers, Penguins and Pitt basketball win or lose, who enjoyed a bet now and then. Some of his favorite memories were snitching on his Dad to Mom after the annual Broad Top City Memorial Day holiday, playing racquetball with his brother at the University of Kentucky, watching the Bucs beat the Brewers on the 4th of July and eating Coney Island hot dogs. He'd been in declining health for the last several years almost taking "the trip" on two prior occasions. After each time, his famous line was "those doctors think they know everything, just because they read a few books. I know my body better than anyone." He then would add the zinger he'd been using for many years "no one's going to tell me what to do." And we couldn't. He was stubborn, loving and always had a line for the ladies and could make a rock laugh. We love you brother, "til we meet again. You are missed.
