Robert F. Jeffreys Sr.

Robert F. Jeffreys Sr., 77, Johnstown, died March 10, 2020 at Memorial Medical Center.  Born December 20, 1942 in Johnstown, son of Carlus W. and Mary (Szadvari) Jeffreys. Preceded in death by parents; brothers, Reese, Buck, Sonny, Ronnie; sisters, Dorothy, Betty, Roberta. Survived by wife of 54 years Linda (Eckenroad) Jeffreys; children, Pamela married to Ken Downer, Renee Jeffreys, Robert Jr. married to Shelly (Brocious) and David Jeffreys; grandchildren, Danielle married to Anthony Holcomb, Sean Jeffreys, Tiffani Irvin, Kyrstin married to Nicholas Grumbling, Kayci Irvin & Nicholas Irvin, Mason Jeffreys; great grandchildren, Kameryn Jeffreys, Jax Holcomb and one on the way; sisters, Mary Jo Fulton and Carol Freidhoff and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He loved the Pittsburgh Penguins and attending air shows with the family, especially the Blue Angels. His pastime recreation included fishing, shooting pool, drag racing, Westerns and playing the lottery. He deeply loved his family. He taught his children a lot and they couldn't have asked for a better Dad. He was also always joking. He worked for Thackary Supply for 31 years. Friends will be received Friday from 4 pm until time of funeral service at 6 pm at John Henderson Company Funeral Home, 215 Central Ave.
