Robert Howsare, 98, Johnstown, died February 25, 2024 at St. Judes Haven. Born January 3, 1926 in Bedford, son of William and Ernestine (Sellers) Howsare. Preceded in death by parents; wife, Carolyn (Cramer); and brother, Kenneth. Survived by daughters, Roberta Noble; and Traca Lees (Jeff); grandchildren, Amy Rizzo (Matthew); and Josh Noble; great granddaughter, Kyrie Noble; brother, Donald (Carol); and numerous nieces and nephews. He was a member of Ft. Bedford Post 7527 VFW and Bedford Post 113 American Legion. He was a founding member of the Ft. Bedford Honor Guard. Bob enjoyed spending time at camp in Potter County, hunting and fishing, and picnics and gatherings at his brother's house and with his honor guard family. Funeral service will be private. The Howsare family extends a heartfelt thank you to the staff at St. Judes Haven, Windber Hospice, and Fort Bedford Honor Guard. Henderson Funeral Home-East Hills is serving the family.
