Robert L. Derby, 68, formerly of Vine Street Towers and Hornerstown, died January 7, 2024 at Richland Rehab and Health Care. Born September 16, 1955 in Pittsburgh, son of Byron and Esther (Smith) Derby. Preceded in death by parents; brother, Daniel; nephew, Michael Derby; and beloved "furbaby, Buttons". survived by siblings, Cathy McClarren, Thomas, and Steven; adopted brother, Butch Penrod; loving niece, Rhona Ours; great niece, Kayleena Ours; and numerous other nieces and nephews. There will be no public viewing. A memorial service will be held at a later date. John Henderson Company Funeral Home is serving the family.
