Robert R. Beegle

Robert R. Beegle, 80, Richland, died January 23, 2020 at Windber Hospice. Born January 26, 1939 in Johnstown son of Mark S. and Betty (Berkey) Beegle. Preceded in death by parents, daughter Roberta L. Marks; brother Ronald Beegle. Survived by wife of 60 years Rose Marie (Kristoff); daughter Denise married to G. Scott Marks; son-in-law David Marks; sisters Elaine married to David Peterson, Frances married to Simon Nader and numerous nieces and nephews. Member of St. Patricks Catholic Church. He retired after 46 years service from Penn Machine Co. He is a life member of Ferndale Sportsmen's Association and Oakland Volunteer Fire Company, where he was past president and assistant treasurer. He and his wife enjoyed bus trips to area casinos, fishing and reading. The family would like to thank Dr. Warshel and all of the angels at Windber Hospice. Friends will be received Sunday from 3-7 at Henderson Funeral Home East Hills, 2503 Bedford Street. A funeral mass will be held Monday at 11 am at St. Patricks Catholic Church, Fr. Walter Moll. Entombment Richland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Windber Hospice in his honor.
