LEVENTRY- Richard W., 84, Johnstown. Passed away on June 6, 2026 at Memorial Medical Center. Born June 17, 1941 in Johnstown. Son of Irvin and Gertrude (Marsh) Leventry. Preceded in death by parents, brothers Rev. Mearle Leventry, Gerald Leventry, Robert Leventry, and Forest Leventry, and sister Mable Ashman. Survived by wife of 62 years, Carol (Jamison); children, Richard Leventry of Boswell, Susan Witkosky of Davidsville, Christopher Leventry of Windber and Jodi Gindlesperger (Keith) of Windber; sister, Leona Lohr; grandchildren, Derek Leventry, Olivia Maira, William Schmalz Jr., Abigail Letizia, Dylan Witkosky, Christopher Leventry, Ashlyn Emerick, Michela Raco and Edward Locher IV; and 16 great grandchildren. Richard retired from Bethlehem Steel Corp. as a supervisor. He was an avid Penn State football fan and a Navy veteran. Friends will be received on Wednesday from 11:00 until time of funeral service at 1:00 at Henderson Funeral Home, East Hills, 2503 Bedford St. Pastor Jim Gay, officiating.
