HOWELL- Richard A. "Dick," 72, Johnstown. Passed away on February 23, 2021 at Windber Hospice after a battle with cancer. Born July 4, 1948 in Johnstown. Son of Herbert H. and Elizabeth "Betty" (Hollingsworth) Howell. Preceded in death by his father, brother Walter, brother-in-law Richard Fox, sister-in-law Debbie Howell, nephew Jason Howell and niece Melissa Livingston. Survived by his mother of Johnstown; daughter Lynn married to Daryl Moore of South Fork; sisters Mabel Fox of Johnstown and Rose married to George Livingston of Bethel; brother James of Pine Grove; sister-in-law Karen (Gray) Howell of Johnstown; nieces and nephews Kevin Howell of Winder,GA, Michael, Matthew, David, Keeton, Shawn, and Chad. Former member of the former Overbrook United Methodist Church. He was an avid Steelers and Penguins fan and enjoyed watching westerns. A Westmont High School graduate, class of 1967. Dick retired from Bethlehem Steel Corp. The family would like to thank the staff at Windber Hospice for the care they gave to him. There will be no viewing, however, a memorial service will be held at 11:00 on March 27, 2021 at John Henderson Co. Funeral Home. Inurnment at Grandview Cemetery. www.hendersonfuneralhome.com
