Raymond P. Kist, 90, Johnstown, died September 23, 2023 at Select Specialty Hospital. Born January 15, 1933 in Johnstown, son of Leo and Victoria (Roidle) Kist. Preceded in death by parents; son, James; brothers, Charles, Herbert, Robert, and Leo; and sisters, Elizabeth, Catherine, Rosemary, and Mary Agnes. Survived by wife of 70 years, Betty L (Burkett); daughters, Sandy Kott (Thom); Kathy Bovaird (David); and Jacki Seidel (Denny); grandchildren, Ross, Cari. Matt, Adam, and Nathan; and 6 great grandchildren. Ray was a retired welder from Penelec (Seward Branch) and a USAF veteran of the Korean Conflict. By request, there will be no viewing. A private memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family. John Henderson Company Funeral Home is serving the Kist family.
