Raymond E. Bywater

Raymond E. Bywater, 84, Johnstown, died October 17, 2025 at home. Born April 17, 1941 in Johnstown, son of Lloyd and Blanche (Hoffman) Bywater. Preceded in death by parents; brothers, Donald and Robert; and sisters, Mary Jane Layton, and Letha Webb. Survived by wife, Shelba (Hare); daughter, Michele (Robert Skutch) and siblings, Shirley (Frank Urbassik) and Harold Bywater (Florence). He was a retired truck driver for the Schmidt Baking Company. Friends received Tuesday 10AM until noon at Henderson Funeral Home-East Hills, 2503 Bedford St. Graveside service will follow at Richland Mausoleum.
