Phyllis J. (Fetterman) Frombach

Phyllis Jean Frombach,92, Johnstown, passed away December 23, 2025. She was the loving wife of 58 years to Wilfred, and loving mother of daughters: Pamela Jean, wife of William "Jake" McKendree, Johnstown; and Kathy Marie, wife of Matthew Miller, Allison Park. She was a loving grandmother to Karissa Miller. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, Fern and Catherine (Sweeney) Fetterman; brother, Dean Fetterman; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Phyllis was a long-time member of Trinity Lutheran Church. She was a graduate of Ferndale High School, Class of 1951. Mom loved spending time with her family and teaching roller skating. She taught at Skateland Rink in Johnstown, and Donora Skating Rink in Donora. Phyllis had a passion for butterflies. She will be missed by her daughters and family. Friends received Friday from 9AM until the hour of service at 11AM at John Henderson Company Funeral Home, 215 Central Ave., with Pastor Toby holland officiating. Interment, Grandview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church.
