Peter Maleniak Obituary
Peter Nicholas Maleniak, 83, Johnstown, died April 1, 2026 at Select Specialty Hospital. Born July 10, 1942 in Johnstown, son of Nicholas and Anna (Madarish) Maleniak. Preceded in death by parents; and sisters, Celina Coval, and Frances Speyer. Survived by wife, Carol (Barczak). He was a member of St. John the Baptist Orthodox Church. He was also a member of Conemaugh, PNA, Conemaugh Fire Club, CFU, Polski Dom, and Union Social. Pete was a retired school teacher from the Greater Johnstown School District. By request, there will be no viewing. Funeral mass will be held 10AM Tuesday at St. Therese Church. Committal, Grandview Cemetery. Arrangements are by Henderson-Makuchan Funeral Home.
