Paul L. Hofecker, Jr, 80, Johnstown, died February 13, 2025 at Memorial Medical Center. Born July 1, 1944 in Johnstown, son of Paul L., Sr. and Ernestine (Morgan) Hofecker. Preceded in death parents; and sisters, Patti Straton and Betty Urban. Survived by wife, Mary; sons, Paul W., (Annette Young); and Jeff; grandchildren, Dr. Tyler Arsenault (Jessica); Sarah Hofecker; and Stephen Hofecker; great grandchildren, Brooks and Noa Arsenault; siblings, Joyce (Rodney George); Janice Swanger; Robert (Charlotte); and Ronald (Cathy); best friend, Lyle Alexander; and canine companion, "Sadie". Paul was retired from Benshoff Printing. He was a former scout master for Geistown Troop 25. He served in the US Navy during the Vietnam Era. Friends received 3-6PM Monday at Henderson Funeral Home-East Hills, 2503 Bedford St., where funeral service will be held 10AM Tuesday with Pastor Mark Murchie officiating. Interment, Richland Cemetery where military rite will be conducted by Chas. Menoher Post 155 VFW Ritual Team.
