Paul Fredrick Schmidt

Paul Frederick Schmidt, 72, Johnstown, died August 17, 2024, at Memorial Medical Center. Born January 19, 1952, in Johnstown. Son of Paul Francis and Ruth (Gleich) Schmidt. Preceded in death by parents and sisters Sara Noon and Susan Sisler. Survived by wife of 49 years Ernestine (Cordes) Schmidt; siblings Edward Schmidt, Jack Schmidt and Jean Hunter; also, numerous nieces and nephews. Paul was a member at Memorial Baptist Church. He belonged to the Harmonie Singing Society and was an avid Steelers and Pirates fan. A memorial service will be held Friday, August 30, at 1:00 at John Henderson Co. Interment, Forest Lawn Cemetery.
