Paul George Faint passed away December 29th, 2023 at the age of 89. He was the only child of George and Tressa Faint. Paul loved his country and went into the Army and served honorably as a Military Police Officer. After his service, he followed his father's footsteps and worked for GTE/Verizon Phone Company for over 43 years. He met his wife Joanne (Hargreaves) who he had three boys—Dan, Ken, and Jim. Paul worked proudly for the Democratic committee for years. He was a member of Riverside Volunteer Fire Company, where he called bingo every Friday for many years. Paul belonged to the Lions Club where he served as a treasurer for 32 years. He was also a member of the Alma Lodge as an Odd Fellow. You would always find Paul wearing a one pocket flannel shirt with a cigar in it, a handkerchief in his pocket, and something always on his feet. He enjoyed spending time listening to his scanner in his recliner or sitting out front of his home. He looked forward to his yearly vacations at Long Beach and Myrtle Beach and eating seafood and corn dodgers. He enjoyed a cold beer, a good cigar, his homemade ice tea, and watching old movies and NCIS. You would often find him daily at Bilo and walking his dog throughout Riverside stopping and talking to everyone. He enjoyed playing Pinnacle with his "card couples" and often traveled with them to Alaska, Hawaii, and various other vacation spots. His favorite meal was a steak along with apple pie and vanilla bean ice cream which he would share with his dog every evening. Paul leaves behind his three sons, daughter in laws, 8 grandchildren and their spouses, and 3 great grandchildren, nieces, and a marriage of 69 years and many dear friends. He will be dearly missed … we know that he is enjoying his mom's spaghetti and having the best seat now for every Steeler and Pirate game with his dogs by his side. We can only imagine how happy he must be with Our Lord and take comfort in knowing we will see him again. Friends received Wednesday from noon until time of service at 1PM at John Henderson Company Funeral Home, 215 Central Ave. Interment, Grandview Cemetery.
