Paul F. Bayush

Paul F. Bayush, 74, Conemaugh, died April 21, 2021 at Windber Hospital. Born December 2, 1946 in Johnstown. Son of Paul J. and Violet E. (Djoice) Bayush. Preceded in death by parents, brother James, niece Megan Chalich and nephew Zachary Chalich both in infancy. Survived by loving wife Mary Elizabeth (Cochran); sister Karen (James Thomas "JT"); niece Amy Shaffer; in-laws Brian (Linda) Cochran, Lourene (Gary) Serball, Rose Marie (Bernard Chalich); nieces Kristen Ickes (Jeremy), Ashley Chalich, Rachel Musgrave (Rick); nephew Kevin Cochran; great nephew Conor Meden. He was a member of the Church of the Transfiguration, Knights of Columbus council 467, Conemaugh Eagles 1811. Past president of United Steel Workers Local 2635. He graduated from Franklin High School in 1964 and UPJ in 1969 with a bachelors degree in Economics. He retired from Ameriserv. US Navy Veteran Vietnam Era. A funeral mass will be held Saturday at 10:30 am at Church of Transfiguration, Fr. Robert C. Hall, celebrant.Military rite will be conducted immediately following the mass by Chas. Menoher Post 155 VFW Ritual Team. Interment Grandview Cemetery. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Church of Transfiguration. Henderson Makuchan Funeral Home is serving the family.
