Patrick Romano, 87, Johnstown, passed away January 14, 2021 at Memorial Medical Center. Born March 22, 1933 in Johnstown, son of the late Santo and Margaret (McCon) Romano. Survived by wife of 68 years, Mary Ann (Trovato); sons, Daniel, Patrick, and Sam; grandchildren, Ross (Tina), Nicole, and Emily; and great granddaughter, Emma. Also survived by Deidra Romano. Patrick worked for 40 years in the sheet metal business. He was a talented musician, playing the piano with bands or a soloist. He had a terrific voice where he could sing opera as well as pop music. He is remembered by many when he would sing at St. Andrew's novenas. Patrick played the organ and sang at St. Andrew Church for 30 years where he was a charter member. He was a life time member of Ferndale VFD, where he enjoyed working the hamburger grill at the Ferndale Firemen's Jubilees. He will be sadly missed. Viewing will be private. A funeral mas will be held at 1:30PM Friday at St. Andrew Church with Father Angelo Patti as celebrant. Masks and social distancing are required by those attending. Entombment at Grandview Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Andrew's Church. Arrangements are by John Henderson Company Funeral Home, 215 Central Ave.
