Nellie M. (Jasper) Kohut

Nellie M. Kohut, 92, York, formerly of Ferndale, died December 17, 2018 at York Hospital. Born December 11, 1926, in Johnstown, daughter of Charles and Winifred (Hanson) Jasper. Preceded in death by parents; and sister, Mary Nies. Survived by husband, Joseph, children, Earl Woods (Sheila Graffius), Mineral Point; Regina Camut, Camp Hill; Lynne Kohut, and Linda Gray, both of York. Also survived by grandchildren David Woods (Misty), and Amy Woods; and great grandchildren, Alex, Eli, and Anna Woods. She was retired from Ferndale School District. Friends received from 2 until 7pm Friday at John Henderson Company Funeral Home, 215 Central Ave., where funeral service will be held at 10am Saturday with Rev. John R. Virgin officiating.
