Michael Austin Williams, age 32, passed away on December 7, 2021. He was born February 23,
1989 in Los Angeles, CA. Proceeded in Death by Joseph M. Williams, Survived by Carin Crawley-
Williams. Michael spent his childhood between Johnstown and Reading PA. He attended Central
Catholic Grade School and Muhlenberg Middle School. As a child he had many interests and was
involved in Little League, swimming, acting and was a member of the Track and Field Team, he also played saxophone in his Middle School ensembles. As a Teen, the Family moved to Utica NY where he was graduated from Proctor High School. After Graduation, Michael attended Reading Area Community College pursuing an Assoc Degree in Nursing. He later transferred to Mohawk Valley Community College/SUNY to study Business Administration emphasizing International Scenarios of Financial Data, during this time he worked and still found time to become certified in Insurance APS & API.. Upon completion of studies he became "restless" wanting to take time to travel and see theCountry, so to full-fill this "itch" Michael applied, attended and received AAS Degree from Iowa Central College in Fort Dodge ,IA for Automotive Technology and Diesel Mechanics. Upon his obtaining a CDL, he was hired by Mays Trucking and spent over a year traveling the Country. Once his "wanderlust" declined, he attended Penn Highlands where he studied Marketing, then transferred to Utica School of Commerce in NY where he would graduate with a degree in Business Administration and Management. Michael was employed by The Utica Municipal Housing Authority, Later being offered a wonderful position by Bank Of America where he remained until he became ill. Michael truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures: he often volunteered at Soup Kitchens and assisted with activities in Elderly Facilities, he enjoyed driving, fishing, gardening, music, bowling and poker. He was an excellent Chess player and had a fondness for horses and a great child like interest in buses, trolleys and trains. He was a true "Foodie" and an excellent cook and baker and loved to share his creations with friends and neighbors. Michael had a generous spirit and a charming, pleasant personality. He leaves behind a host of friends and family and will be sorely missed by all that knew him. To all, whose lives Michael touched, are invited to John Henderson Co.
