Maxine (Sabo) Catalfano

Maxine Catalfano, 74, Johnstown, died June 21, 2021 at Memorial Medical Center. Born January 28, 1947. Daughter of James Emory and Margaret (Frameli) Sabo. Preceded in death by her parents and granddaughter Haile Slusser. Survived by son Robert J. Slusser, long time partner John Laird; granddaughter Jessica Slusser; three great grandchildren; siblings Frederick W. Sabo (Melissa), Margaret "Lucy" McAdams; numerous nieces and nephews. She was a member of Walnut Grove Church of the Brethren. She loved to read and shop. She was the happiest while she was working and worked for many years at Best Form Industries. A graveside service will be held Thursday at 10:00 AM at Grandview Cemetery. The family suggest donations be made to the Humane Society in her name. John Henderson Company Funeral Home, 215 Central Ave. is serving the family.
