Mary Ann (Trovato) Romano

Mary Ann Romano, 91, Johnstown, passed away peacefully in her sleep at her home June 30, 2024. Born September 29, 1932 in Johnstown. Daughter of Rosario and Josephine (Casella) Trovato. Preceded in death by parents; husband Patrick; sister Josephine Coppola and brothers Carmen and George. Survived by sons Daniel, Patrick and Sam; grandchildren Ross, Nicole, Emily; great granddaughter Emma; sister Rosalie Saccone. Mary Ann had been an active member of St. Andrew Catholic Church since 1959. She was the president of the Ladies Guild. She had been the chief investigator for the Cambria County DA's office for 32 years. Friends will be received Monday July 8th from 11:30 until 12:30 at John Henderson Company Funeral Home, 215 Central Ave. A funeral mass will be held the same day at 1:00 at St. Andrew Catholic Church, Fr. Peter Crowe, celebrant. Entombment Grandview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Andrew Catholic Church. The family would like to extend their gratitude to Windber Hospice for the care they showed to Mary Ann. John Henderson Company Funeral Home is serving the family.
